I went in my own direction on this song, added some grooves where there weren’t any drums, and put in a Gospel-style drum solo in the last chorus. A definite nod to Brad Wilk for the inspiration on this one.
Celebrating 20 Years Of System Of A Down’s Toxicity!
This album was a game-changer for heavy music in general and for me personally. I’m celebrating by covering Chop Suey with two different versions. One with some footage from Rock Band to help those with short attention spans pay attention and one without if you want nothing but the drums!
